Legend has it that she was not just a skilled seamstress but a woman of grace and responsibility. A lady whose story takes a royal turn when she catches the eye of King Dinh Tien Hoang.

Their tale of love unfolded against the backdrop of Son Tay town, with the king eventually marrying her and giving her the title Queen Tu Phi. Within the palace walls, Queen Tu Phi transformed the art of sewing, managing the department for making royal costumes. Her ingenuity and creativity birthed an entire profession, as she taught her skills to palace maids, creating a legacy that transcends time.

The year of the Cat (979) brought an unfortunate end to King Dinh Tien Hoang, and disillusioned by the power struggles within the royal court, Queen Tu Phi returned to her roots in Trach Xa. Here, she not only brought the seamstress craft from the palace but also became a beacon, teaching it to the villagers. Queen Tu Phi passed away on the 12th day of the 12th lunar month, marking the beginning of the annual commemoration ceremony.

The model created on the mannequin becomes the blueprint, detailing every nuance of assembly. Seams, necklines, sleeves, pocket placement—the pattern bears the signature of our Model Maker's expertise.
